locked out...like so many times before

If you search my site (upper left corner), by searching the two words, "locked out," you will find that I do this often. The last time I locked myself out of the house, was ~September 25th, 2008~. Yea, go ahead and click that link to take a looksie. So, I went to work. Then I went to school and took a Mid-Term Exam for my Mass Communications, I was feeling good about how I did, so I wanted to go work out and make big muscles.I did just that. I headed straight to the YMCA, and upon my getting out of my work out clothes. I discovered that I had not put in any extra boxers. . . . . But, I figured that I lived close, and as soon as I got out of the shower, I would hop into my jeans, and drive home to put on some boxers, and get some lunch before I had to go to my afternoon class at 1:30. Well, I got home, opened the garage door with the key pad, then expected to just walk in the house when. . . . .I found that some how the door that enters into the house from the garage, was locked from the inside. Just like back in September of '05. Well, back in Sept, I just put a ladder up the 2nd story, and got in through the screen. But, it is not warm enough to have the house opened up. So here I am cold, no underwear, and hungry. Called my mom, she was shopping and would not be home, brain stormed, and came up with nothing. Well, I thought enough to call my friend George who lives close. Just so happened that he had an extra pair of boxers that would fit me, and when I called him he was on his way home from work. BINGO!! He would also feed me, I was all taken care of.Good conversation, and hanging out time. Well, I went to my afternoon class, then my evening class.I took this picture, and for some reason, I really liked it. Don't know why exactly, maybe it was because of the run in I had with the gentlemen in the hat. He seemed like a very introverted by extremely nice guy. Wish I could have had a conversation with him.

After my Photography class, I had a conversation with an individual from the class. It was refreshing to have a talk like that. . . . . I need a... ..., wait, I just need to be patient in the Lord. That is what I need. And whatever needs to happen in order for me to attain that, is what I need. Yup, that is what I said and I am sticking with it. God bless, and G'Night!

AHHHHHHHH!!! then into a good day

It is Saturday morning, I got onto campus to the 24/7 computer lab at about 7:10AM.What got me out of bed so early on a Saturday morning? Well, to be perfectly honest, my cousin Matt did. He had mandatory overtime at work, and I told my dad I would take him. I did this with the thought that I needed something to get my butt out of the house early to get working on my paper, since I neglected to do so yesterday. I am super frustrated right now. It is 10:58AM, and I have not gotten much accomplished. This paper for my English class needs to be 22-26 pages long. BUT, it is broken into 4 individual papers based around one main topic. My main topic is "How to love yourself." The four individual papers are...1.) Loving yourself in Christ 2.) The golden rule 3.) Loving yourself through difficulties and pain and 4.) I have no idea yet....

I feel so strongly about this topic, but I am having one (excuse me) HELL OF A TIME PUTTING IT ALL INTO WORDS!!!!All of my ideas are based around the teachings of Christ. I know how to live them all out. I just am having a ton of trouble writing them all down in an intelligent and scholarly way. This is horrible, I love to wright, but this paper is making me despise it.

It is now 11:05AM, I merged into the library, and I am now taking a break to BLOG out some frustration real quick. DARN THIS PAPER!!! I should have chosen a topic that was shallow and meaningless to me. Not really, but I am frustrated like crazy right now. I think I am going to take a break at 11:30 for lunch where I will eat, pray, and go back to a place of writing that appears more to be an external expression (writing) of an internal emotion (the love I carry for myself and others) I really am full of. I'm just glad i'm not full of, well.....you know.......SHIT.

So after I typed for what seemed like an enternety(10 hours) I heeded a physical break. So I went to go tanning. It was relaxing and I nodded off a couple of times while I was in there. When I left there I planned on going home, picking Matt up(my cousin) and taking him downtown like we had discussed this morning when I dropped him off for work.....BUT, apparently matt had other ideas. Which is perfectly fine, because the man in 29 years old, and the decision making is all on his side. BUT, my father and I both inconvienced ourselves for him.....which again, is perfectly okay. Matt & I talked about it and we are both going to work on better communication.

Well, I still wanted to go to the movie. So I had some time to kill since VERIZON didn't have time to update the software on my phone (it has old software from April 17th which causes it to randomnly shut off), so I went to target to waste some time. While I was there I decided to do a little promotional advertisiging of my own. I still have this graphing calculator for sale, and I am not getting any interest on it. SO.........Call or text
60-433-1543
for
a gently used
TI-84 Plus, no
wire or CD
for $60
Now, I am not stupid, and the probability that someone will actually call or text me is really low. Chances are someone will think that it is stolen or something worse and won't go for it. But, hey, if someone wants to save $50 on a perfectly good calculator that has additional video games on to it, they need to just give me a call!!!

Even though my cousin was not with me, I still wanted to go to the movie. The movie was amazing, and everyone should see, or rent on DVD Transsiberian!!! Just trust me, it is action packed and you never know what to expect!!! It rocks hardcore.

Well, after this I still had to go to a party put on by my best friend and his roommates. AHHH!!! This is where the "problem" Started. I went, I enjoyed the "ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW" themed party, and it was.....well weird. If you don't know or care what The Rocky Horror Picture Show is, then don't worry about these pictures...and don't judge me. But if you do know what it is, then just SOAK ALL THIS UP!!!Well, since I was not drinking, the one in the middle, Marty asked me if I would go and pick up some of his friends. I of course agreed, and went to go get them. They were all, already drunk. Robbie (one of the friends) was super drunk and not ready to get in the car because he wanted to finish his beer. I said it would be perfectly okay, and went inside to wait with them. I was pre-occupied and guess what I did........................I locked my keys in my car. OOOPS!!! Long story short, robbie tried to help, but shattered my window. The first thing I said after it shashed all over the ground, seat, floor, and everything was this, very calmly I said, "well, I can take you guys to the party now, door's open." He was super upset, and I said no big deal let's just get going. That was my day. And just because I was the Designated Driver doesn't mean I don't have my deamons of my own. They come in all different shapes and sizes. :-)

God Bless!!

locked OUT

I have two classes on Tues & Thurs, well my philosophy class brought some interesting conversation. It was really pretty cool how it all came about. Ya see, we are currently discussing a guy (famous philosopher) who is an existential atheist. To broaden your understanding of what existential means, I found wikipedia to actually be quite helpful. Anyways, we got into the whole debate on Free Will & how this philosopher says very bluntly, you can't have God & Free Will. I kept explaining that you absolutely, and that it makes the foundation for God. It was really pretty awesome how it happened. I got to share my faith, and did not feel shunned or anything of the sort. There were those who shot down my way of thinking, but I was not defensive, I was okay with it, and continued to intelligently approach my views. My prof does not agree with me one little bit, in fact, it would be safe to say he probably thinks I am lacking in many ways of basic intelligence. BUT, he has never felt the peace that passes understanding. I kind of offended this guy named Avi. Avi is a practicing Orthadox Jew, and with my statement of faith, it did....in a round about sort of way, condem him. I say that carefully, because God never condems anyone. There is always an opportunity for change. But, by saying to an Orthadox Jew, you must accept that Jesus Christ was both fully God and fully man to inherit the kingdom of heaven, you are....in a way, condeming him/her. When class was over, I waited for him, and we both walked a bit to discuss the matter further. Much respect for him, and I believe that goes both ways.

When class got over, and I was ready to go home to eat lunch........I WAS LOCKED OUT OF MY CAR!!!Yes, it is a horrible feeling to walk up to your car and frantically search yourself for car keys that aren't there. As you approach your vehicle, you hope and hope and hope that you just accidently placed them down while in the bathroom, or maybe dropped them when exiting the class room. You are thinking that anything would be better than locking them in your car. When all other possibilities are exhausted, you reluctantly approach your car..............there they are. Right in the ignition where you left them. As Homer Simpson would say, "DO'OH!!!"

So, I called around and found that help was not going to be contacted by phone, well not without really putting someone out. So, I started walking. I started to walk to my friend Josh, who works near by. I have frequented his work while on my way home from school on Tuesdays and Thursdays when I see him in his car on lunch break. I tried calling him, but he didn't pick up. So, I didn't really have any other option, so I just started walking over there. When I did, I roamed his building a bit, which is right across the busy street by my College. And I called him again, he picked up this time, and I told him my situation, and asked if I could borrow his car for a bit while I went home to get my spare key. He agreed, and saved my butt. I put $10 in his gas tank, and all was well with the key world. I was so thankful for him today.

Something amazing happened too. My friend Jama is getting back today. WOWZERS!!! It was so crazy how God worked that situation out too. Our last phone conversation & letter happened about 2 months ago. I have been meaning ever since to write her back. But sometimes I am so darn stupid with my priorities that I just kept putting it off, and putting it off. Jama has been at a place called Mercy Ministries which is in Nashville, TN. Boy oh boy did a lot of prayers and "GOD WORK" go into getting her there. But she went, and has been there for many months. I just so happened to take the time to write her a letter. I was doing it in the 45 spare minutes I had before I had to go back to work. As soon as I was done writing it, I gave Jama's mom a call to see when she was scheduled to come back. I knew it was sometime soon, but whether it was next month or what I had no clue. I called her mom, and when her mom...or so I thought called me back, IT WAS JAMA!! She was calling from her moms phone, on the road, driving back with her mum from Nashville!! I just so happened to call her mom, on the day that Jama was coming home. Coming home from her 4-6 month stretch in Nashville at Mercy. Hummm, ironic or God ordaned..... I will go with the later of the two. :-)

I went to a seminar tonight that BSF had about preaching the gospel. It was awesome, and I am super duper tired.

G'Night!!

I can feel it coming in the air tonight...

(kind of like that Phil Collins song)
I can just "feel" that a new LOOK for my BLOG is just around the corner. Something really awesome and sweet is going to take place on this here online journal of mine. I am going to make it sweet & simple. Then, I am going to bring the masses to it. I think I have a lot of good to share, and people need a good "life" blog to follow. Heck, if more people BLOGGED like I do, I would follow them. I like the every day in's and out's of life.

Okay, so something happened today that is worth sharing. I totally got locked out of the house. I was coming home after my 10:30AM-11:45AM class today when I realized I was locked out of the house. I got the garage door opened, but the door to the actual house was locked mysteriously for some reason. UGHHHH!!! This was a problem, because I had to PEE like a race horse. I was really determined to get inside. Well, not because I had to pee, because I ended up taking care of that in the back yard....."hoping no neighbors were home and looking into their back yards. Anyways, I knew one of the screens only locked in on half the side on one of the windows on the second floor. So......I got out the extension ladder, and propped it up against the side of the house. Ahhh, relief set in because I made it inside, and could start my lunch. So happy! I put some water on the stove top to bring it to a boil, and started preparing things for lunch. "Ohhh, I forgot something in my car, I must go get that," I said. So out to my car I went, and when I went to go back inside. Well, I remembered I hadn't UNLOCKED the DOOR!!!! This is what I looked like.It was more urgent this time, because I had water boiling. After I had to laugh it off for a second, I repeated the same ladder trick, and made it in, once again through the window. Ate some lunch and badda bing, badda BOOM.

The latter part of my day was spent in STUDIO-M at IPFW. I was working on the brocure for my OLS group project.

One last thing. I got my test back for that first OLS test. I got a 90% and was pretty pumped about that.

G'Night (11:16PM)
