JUNO with a bunch of male Young Life leaders at the dollar theater. It was a really emotional movie for me because it brought up a lot of raw emotions that had to do with adoption and the whole situation. I really thought about my biological mother, and how insanely difficult it must have been. Then I thought about my real moms situation and how horribly difficult it must have been for her as well. It was just really pressing for me for some reason. We went back to Starbucks for some coffee and had some great talks. I think I freaked them out when I shared my thoughts on the government, and politics. I don't know if they expected that out of me....well it's out there now!
just a simple question that maybe is none of my business..how can you afford to go out to movies almost every night, plus dinner, or starbucks afterword..my wife and i both work full time and with gas costs and groceries, etc we have to cut down on extras..if you are not working much any more how can you keep up the social life....driving all over, movies, dinners, coffee, etc..Your life sounds pretty good to us and we both work 8 hrs every day, so just wondering how you pull it off
ReplyDeleteThat's a good question. Well, Thursday I had CarMike(Cinema) Bucks left from Christmas, so it was actually free. My friend Nate took me to Starbucks to meet his girl friend, then purchased my drink for me as a way to say "thanks for talking" He also drove, which saved me on gas. I drive a lot with Young Life activities, but YL is pretty good on reimbursing me for ga$. I also live at home because I need my dad's health insurance, so I cut back on a lot of bills there.
ReplyDeletenothing wrong with that, thanks for the answer..have a great sunday and let saturday go..
