eye eye captain

Yes in deedy, I got some things taken care of today. First thing on my agenda; get the rest of my airfare to Arizona out of the way. I left the house around noon, and was at the library by 12:30. I got on a computer and finished with some of the questions that the Lost Canyon (camp I will be interning at) staff ask in order to get a better feel for where I am at Spiritually, as well as my personality.

Then I started the search for the tickets.
It took me a while, but I found a ticket from Flagstaff to Indianapolis for $306.50. Not bad, considering the ones I bought last Tuesday (the 10th) were $334.79. That is a real good thing I think because I cut out about 30 bones, so I am happy with that. I am getting really excited about this internship too. I mean you can see the excitement in my eyes!!Now I just have to keep my act together long enough to finish this semester off with a solid footing (good grades) and get as many kids totally pumped for our area's camp trip to Windy Gap in North Carolina!!

SO, then I did my Bible study. It was such a nice day, I went outside to Bible it up.Yes, yes, the good ole Israelites are about to come into the Land God promised them. They are getting closer and closer. Starting to learn. . . .a weee little bit too.

Then I went to the computer lab and was working on an assignment for my photography class. We were given 4 different pictures, we had to take an unedited picture, and make it look like the edited picture. They were pictures that our Professor had taken, and we had to do the best we could in Photoshop to make them look like the ones he had edited. Just take a look. The top left was the picture he had edited. The original picture l0oked a mess. He told us we could take the picture in a different direction if we saw fit. If you notice, I went a lighter and brighter green on the elf as well as the stripe on the girl's (to the left) jacket. With this picture, it was not too difficult. I actually did an "auto color & auto brighten" option, and it almost made it look identical. So, the hockey picture was super simple. It is late, and I am still on campus at the 24/7 computer lab. I am going home now, I have not eaten, and my head hurts.

VALENTINES DAY

Let's start it off right. The movie I shared on my BLOG yesterday, well it just got a whole lot better. Watch this video to see how. Yea, that is great.

Okay, so it is valentines day today. I am proud to admit that I do in fact have a Valentine.

(Lili)

The only thing is....she is a bit of a long distance valentine. She lives in Arizona, and I met her last summer when I volunteered at Lost Canyon (the camp I got an internship @ this summer) last summer in Arizona. I did get her a gift too. It was a singing picture message. High tech right? Anyways, I have not heard back from her on if she liked it or not, but I am sure she did.

What did my V-Day consist of you might be asking yourself. Well, I will tell you. CLEANING! I cleaned my bathroom, and managed to take an incredibly long long time.
This is a picture of my bathroom before I started cleaning. Call it a "BEFORE" picture if you will. Yes yes, now hear this, the bathroom is much cleaner in this "after" picture so to speak. Gotta love a good before & after picture though don't ya? So, most people could probably accomplish a clean bathroom in ohh maybe an hour tops. It took me nearly three and a half, no kidding. Things like breaking the sweeper belt, cleaning toilet tank's, cleaning all wood work, shower detailing, etc. seem to really take up a lot of time. I know what you are thinking, you are thinking, "did you say toilet tank cleaning?" YES I DID!! Check out the before and after shot's of this bad boy. Yes, here she is. Years and years of water flowing in and out, in and out, dropping slight amounts of sediment here and there can really add up in a toilet tank. Well, when I was reading the directions on the back of the toilet bowl cleaner, I noticed it gave directions for cleaning the toilet bowl tank as well. I thought to myself, "well why not?" SO I DID IT!! AND CHECK OUT THE END RESULTS!!! That's right ladies and gentlemen, my very own, spotless TOILET BOWL TANK! Not only will I have the peace of mind that the inside of something I never see is clean, but I will be able to sleep better at night knowing that the world has been rid of a little less toilet bowl tank sedimentation. WHAT A LOAD OFF MY BACK! I had all the intention in the world to go onto campus early and study study study. But, my laziness and bathroom kept me from leaving my house until about 5:30'ish PM. Once I did leave though, I managed to get a lot done. This is where the majority of my study time took place. I started out with Mass Communications, and ended with Elements of Business Law. My chosen location was right atop a stairwell. The highlight of my evening was when I heard a voice scream, "YAAAHOOOOOO!!!" very loudly. Then, shortly after the happy scream of exaltation, a young man appeared through the doors. I smiled, and asked him, "so what are ya so happy about?" He politely explained how he was done with wrestling for the season, or possibly forever. He said he lost his last match, but was so happy to be finished. We had a little small talk afterwords, but it was just so nice to be able to hold a perfectly nice conversation with a complete stranger. I like that stuff a lot.

~MIKEY,
OUT~

labelless

I could not think of a witty, exciting, and punch line'ish title for this BLOG post. I was assured that "labeless" is not a real word, and that may very well be so. BUT, I don't care, it is what I am rolling with. Today was cool, I went to an abandon gas station and took some really cool pictures for my photography class. I will have to upload them once I get them developed. I am excited to see how they turn out. I am not even going to try to describe them, because they will be all the more awesome when I upload them and you see them. TRUST ME!!! It was cold, and it started snowing today. When I got out of my 3 hour long (6-8:45) law class, I just wanted to be warm and naked. Naturally I knew I had to go to the tanning bed. Sorry if that was too graphic a depiction for your imagery senses. I am just being real with you.To the tanning bed I went. When I got home, I spent a little bit of quality time with my parents and the Television. I also got some AWESOME NEWS!!! If, and I say IF, because the only way it will all work out is IF God intends for me to go to Arizona for the paid internship this summer. BUT, IF He does, and I go. My friend Andy said he will send me, meaning he will give me the air fare to go. :~O That is some sweet stuff. SERIOUSLY SWEET!!! God is so good, God is so good, God is so good, He's so good to me.

G'Night!

busy boy

Today was non-stop go go go, read read read it seemed. I leave work at 8:30, go directly to class, after I get out of class, I go directly to Library. STUDY TIME! Then, I go straight to class at 1:30. Class get's out at 2:45, and I have to be back at work at 3:00. I leave work at 5:00 today because every other day I have to leave at 5 instead of 6....because of hour cuts :-( The, I have class at 6:00-8:45!! Goodness!!The evening class is brutal too. It is Elements of Business Law for my minor in OLS (Organizational Leadership & Supervision). I am so tired, but when I got home I had to scan my application for a summer internship position for the Young Life camp that I volunteered at last summer. I am extremely mentally exhausted, and ready to go to bed. God is very good, and deserving of all I have.

gonna take me a bit of a break

Okay, there is no English paper to write, there is no school related mountain to climb....so when I get out of work tomorrow...I might just come back home and go to sleep. YEP, you heard it. I am gonna sleepy.

I actually had time to go and talk to a lady about beads today after I got out of work. I talked to her about if she needs anyone to make beads for her(talking about my friend Tony). I took some pictures of some really amazing beads that she has for sale. They look AMAZING!! Tony was impressed.Go TONY GO!!

Tony and I also discussed a ski/snow board trip that is coming up on the 12th of December. It is going to be a lot of fun!!! I can't wait to take pictures and share that exciting adventure. We (like 7 people) are going to stay at my friends house. His name is Garry, and he has a cabin up in Michigan. FUN!!! I am super tired, SLEEPY TIME!!
