4th day is a great day.

This morning started off like this. I walk up to Sid, at about 10:00AM, I was like "Sid, when am I going to do something?" !MISTAKE! Next thing I know, I see this.

As I see all these people with these needles that stick into their bodies like 4 inches, I am like...Wow, that must be some what painful.............Then, this happens.
This is what the acupuncture was for this morning. In the face it is to help with my vision. In the back and legs it is to help with my tremors. I lost the vision in my left eye when i was 15 years old. It partially came back, but is not 100%. I could go the rest of my life as it is, but if I could re-gain the vision. That would be most amazing! So, after the acupuncture, I asked what was next. They told me that later on in the day i would get a shot that mobilizes the stem cells. Tomorrow they are removing some of my bone marrow. They want to get a bunch of stem cells in that bonemarrow i suppose. I will update as I understand.

After all the hospital related stuff, we had some time on our hands. SO, we did what my mom does best. Hit the street markets, and shopped till we dropped. There are roughly 98 billion tiny shops you can go to in this town. We hit most of them. Kidding, but we went many places.
There are old people playing games with each other all over the place. Some day I will sit and watch, hopefully learn, and play along. My mom thought this fruit looked good. Then we hit the market. I believe it located on Center street. Lots of shops. My mom and I did a little bit of bartering. Got to get the best prices. The venders love Americans. Then we had some free time on our floor. It was really fun. I got to drink some beers, and a little wine. My mom even poured it for me. It was cool, because I proved to her, that I can drink socially, have some good conversation, and be a mature adult. I think it was almost a right of passage. prolly only in China though. LOL.Then, I got to meet this little bundle of cuteness. WOW! I love this little girl. 17 years old. She was an olympic gymnist, and during practice one day she was thrown in the air, fell, and landed on her neck. She is paralyzed from like her belly button down. She showed me many pictures of her in her prime, traveling all over China, and performing for all kinds of people. She was really good. I hope and hope and pray and pray this treatment does her good. She is so positive, and happy. It is people like this that NEED TO WALK AGAIN!! Ya know, you could not put a price on this girl being able to walk again. But i tell you what. If there was a price, I would work day and night, suffering, doing whatever it would take to make it happen. She enjoyed looking through my blog, looking at my friends, and my Chelsy. I enjoyed seeing her smile. It was some time after that when this nurse gave me a shot in my right arm. It was suppose to mobilize my stem cells for the bone marrow removal tomorrow. It is currently giving me a rash around my neck, and making some parts of my body rather sensitive. Not painful or anything like that, just kind of sensitive. GOOD NIGHT!!

I keep wanting to talk in spanish for some reason.

This morning started off with a nurse coming into the room and taking some blood from me. It wasn't like they do it in the US. ohhh no, she stuck a big ole needle with a huge syringe. Kind of intimidating, but she did a wonderful job, and got it on the first time. later on the main doc. and his help came in and did a through inspection. Physical neurological and the whole deal. He was kind of puzzled because he couldn't really find anything wrong with me. I wanted to tell him. "if you only knew." But, I smiled and let him inspect. Ohhh, by the way, I have never had an inspection quite like this one. Pulled my but cheeks apart, literally inspected me from head to towe. VERY THROUGH.
So, after that. Me, being the very inquisitive person that I am. I start looking all around the Hospital. By the way, I want to say how much i love it here before I say this. But, as i was looking around the hospital. Ya know, leaning out the windows and what not. It was a clear day, so i could see buildings very well. I see these huge smoke columns. Hummm, i swear i have seen the likes of these before. SO, i google Nuclear Power Plant cooling towers. and BAM! Right smack dab in the middle of down town Shenyang is a Nuclear Power Plant. LOL. it blew me away........then I realized, This ain't kansas anymore.

Then, Me, my mom, and Sid(translator) made our way to the Bank of China to do some money exchanging. It was very simple, and kind of fun. On a Monday, the Chinese bank is a very booming and busy place. We had to go to the bank of China of course, so we could get money. MONEY to buy FOOD. We did this at....

Wal-Mart!! They have everything here. And seriously, these companies rule this world. Just like at home.......except with live animals that look similar to something that is out of a fiction novel and things with eyes, and well.....I guess it isn't just like at home. But i like it a lot. China is a very unique place, and I believe that if you like to experience LIFE in it's fullest, you need to get out of your comfort zone and experience it. I wouldn't trade this experience for the world. And ya know what, if the treatment doesn't do what I would like for it to do. I will have learned and experienced soo much. things that will make me a better person from the inside out.

So, once my mom got all her supplies, she whipped this up in the Crock Pot.
In the hospital. You do all your cooking in your room. It is best to go out and buy a Crock Pot and a Microwave. This can also be done at Wal-Mart. Very cheaply, and you can make delicious meals like this. Very yummy, and good for you. THANKS MOM!!!

After all that jazz. My mom & I went for a walk in the park, accross the street, and over the River. It was really quite an experience. I tell you what, this park was like a blast from the past. It had old carnival equpiment, and strange fortress buildings, and just a really unique park. Then, towards the end of the ohhh 35 min. walk. My mom and I stand and listen to this man playing an intresting looking string instrument. Well, then my mom totally blows me away. She walks up to him, smiles and starts talking to him. He doesn't understand a lick of what she is saying, but he knows she is intrested. Next thing I know she is getting a lesson on how to play this thing. She stepped out of her comfort zone and WOW, i was throughly impressed. I just have one more picture to show. Later in the evening, me and Frank went for a walk to get some noodles. Well, on our walk we ran into this. LOL. just cracks me up.

Yeah, that is a down power line. Very close to a Power Station. ummmmm.....I don't really need to say anymore. LOL. This is why i love this city. They got their priorities straight. Stem cell research...........then general safety. That is a joke by the way.

SO, wednesday i get my bone marrow taken out, and prepared to be put back in. I will explain more on wednesday, and have pictures and goodies to share. Then, on Friday, i get my first Umbilical Cord Stem Cell injection. I am excited and ready to see where this is going to go. Nothing but smiles from this mouth.

Wall Mart, China, Skype, and ahhhhh!

Today is Sunday. This means day of rest for the hospital, and Chinese people. Seems kind of odd to me that in a Communist country, they observe a Sunday as their national DAY OF REST. I mean, it is the Sabbath day, but why would that mean anything to them? Just something to think about. So, today started off with a trip down town Shenyang, we went and ate at Holiday Inn. I had some noodles and some shrimp stuff with vegetables and what not. it was good. Then we did a little sight seeing, I went out with this guy, Eric. Eric fell off a house in some far away country and got a serious spinal cord injury. The massive statue we were in front of is of Mau Ze Dong. Mr. Communist himself. Pretty great guy........no more comments, i don't want to get my head cut off.
Shenyang is insanely industrial. It is FILTHY here. Seriously, if you open up your window to your room, all this dust, and filth from the streets blows in. Pretty yummy. heh.

My mom and I ventured out into the City today also. We went to Wall-Mart. Above is a picture of Wall-Mart. OMG, this is insane. We got cleaning supplies, and some yogurt. Didn't know how to buy food, what to buy, what most of it was. LOL. then this dude, named David i guess wanted to test out his English. SO, he was trying so hard to help us, but mostly just annoyed us. Wish he could have helped us, but....it was pretty fruitless.

After all that excitement, we went back to the hospital. That is where I am now. I have been trying(for hours) to get my Internet phone to work. I think everything is good, i just have to wait for the transfer to go through. I am talking about the payment of $10 for minutes to make phone calls from an Internet phone to regular land phones. SO, if i haven't called you yet, it isn't because i have been lazy or forgotten, it is because I CAN"T GET MY FRIGGIN PHONE TO WORK!!

Tomorrow I start my first day of treatment. They look at me funny, because i am not in a wheelchair. But, they don't see the MonSter at it's worst right now. They see me in a stage of remittance. Ohh, if they only knew.

I see Chinese couples here, holding hands, kissing, and just loving on each other. It makes me miss Chelsy. Anyways, about Chelsy. I think we are at the status of.....i don't know. But she cares a lot about me, and I do her. I don't want to lose her just because I can't call her my Girl Friend at the moment, so i am just letting it go, and waiting until this stupid phone works so i can call her and tell her on the phone. I think maybe in a little bit, i will go across the street and check out the local park. Here are some random pictures of CHINA.

Crazy American! i know they are all thinking that.

I MADE IT!!! THE FLYING IS FINALLY OVER!

alright, allow me to recap a little bit from the trip here. By the way, I am currently blogging from the Shenyang hospital. So, this was my journey thus far. It started off in the Indianapolis airport where my best friend Jared, my sister Merideth, and my dad saw me and my mom off.The trip was long...the trip was tedious....the trip never seemed to come to an end, but obviously it did, cuz i am here and i am writing about it.

So, we left the airport in indy to denver, went from Denver to L.A., then from L.A. we went to Hong Kong, then left Hong Kong for Shenyang! Here are some pictures and stuff from the trip.

Here is a picture of the currency in Hong Kong. It looked funny compared to our money, but everyones does.
Here is a picture of the 747-400 Long Haul we were on from L.A. to Hong Kong. It was nice because every single seat had it's own tv and you could watch all kinds of stuff. I guess the trip could have been a HECK of a lot worse.

Here is a pictureo of the Jet line that took us from Hong Kong to Shenyang. LOL. DRAGONAIR!! I was kind of nervous to get on this thing, cuz my mom and I were the only passengers that spoke English. Except for the stewards of course. It was actually a really nice ride. Nice plane, people, and ereything.

OHHHH, of course my favorite part of the whole story. Like 2 days before we left for China, my mom and I were talking to my friend Chris about what the food would be like there. Chris says to us, "Hey, I bet they have really good ramen Noodles." My mom & I just laughed at him, and kind of told him thats stupid, it's china, there won't be any Ramen Noodles. Well, then we ran into this.

I ate there, and it was soo good. They have extremely good Ramen Noodles, and everything. So, lesson learned.....Don't count Chris out just cuz what he says seems off the wall. LOL.

I have so many more pictures, but I am tired, and there is no way I can explain every single picture, so I am going to have to say goodnight, and I will keep updating like a mo FO.

P.S. I miss Chelsy Allison Vaughn like crazy. I miss her smell, her soft skin, her eyes, her smile, her laugh, her everything!

packing, dealing with emotions, and staying positive.

So, I have been running around, getting things we need, packing those things, and finilizing everything. Check it out.

The top picture is the request box. That is full of stuff that a family requested I bring for them, because otherwise they will run out of supplies by Saturday. The other 2 pictures are packing stuff. food, books, clothes, entertainment, EVERYTHING!!

Earlier today I got my hair done. Courtney Miller....

Who is an amazing person, and an even more amazing hair stylest cut, and colored my hair today. I am quite happy with it. Here is a picture of it drying while i was chillen with her on her patio thingy outside of the apartment.

It's kind of bright, but you get the picture. She added some light brown highlights, and it looks really good. I am happy with it.

So, emotionally. I am pretty tore up. I wish, more than anything I had someone to support me through this. preferably someone with boobs, someone I trust, someone I like, someone I enjoy being around. BUT, I guess I am suppose to take this on not by myself, because I am far from alone. God, my biggest support is always there, good or bad, happy or sad. But I do believe I need to face this without the support from a direct female companion. And that tells me, i'm not suppose to have that special "someone" right now. She will come, I can be patient. That is exactly what i will do. I trust God with my life and health, I can trust him with my G/F. I CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!

As soon as I get done with this BLOG, I am going to check my mail one last time, and pack it up. The next blog that will be posted from here, will be posted from CHINA!!!

I was on the Television!!! Check out the story! CLICK HERE

I LEAVE TOMORROW!!!!!!!!

Flight leaves Indy at 3:33pm

So long Vision Scapes

Well, today was my last day working for Vision Scapes. It was a good day, worked hard and got to play with a huge dog named Kara.

Kara is a bull mastif. She is freeking huge, and couldn't be any friendlier if you genetically engineered her to be.

So then I get home and I see this tied to two trees in the front yard.

Ya see, the tree to the left is leaning precariously towards the house. ehh, so what my dad did is tie a rope to the tree to the right, which is still firmly planted into the ground. So, a big storm is coming tonight, and I guess we will see what happens. :-/

This here is my last well made home cooked meal. Stuff like this won't be able to be whipped up in a heart beat in China. It is going to be a totally different playing field over there. Which isn't a bad thing. It is just going to be so amazingly different.

2 DAYS LEFT!!!!!!

poor CHRIS, and MIKEY

***Attention, anyone who lives locally***
Wane, News Channel 15 will be airing my story on Wednesday. It will be playing at 5, 6, & 11. The longer version will be played at 5 & 11. Be sure to watch, I hope it is as good as I think it will be. :-)

Today i got news that my buddy Chris lost his job. This is really a bummer. He really liked that job, and it is just too bad.

So, I went over to our buddies house, and tried to cheer him up. I think i may have a little bit. But, mostly i played with Trouble. Trouble is awesome, a very well behaved PIT. Love that dog. Getting close to take off time, haven't packed a thing.....but, sometimes waiting till the last minute is best......right?

Good verse. Some definite food for thought given to me by a caring neighbor.

Ps. 27:14 "Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage; yes, wait for the Lord."

But wait, the title says, poor Chris, and Mikey. Something s**ty happened to me too! Today, when me and Chels were hanging out. I noticed she was being extremely with held from me. I noticed it right away. Not like her usual manipulative physical contact held back. But, straight up denial, emotionally and all that jazz. Well, after some arguments, and what not. It came out. We rushed into this relationship, and she has not had a chance to deal with some of the emotional baggage she carries from her last one. I agreed with her, and told her how much I respect her telling me this. I also told her, I am not going to wait. I can't do that, it's too hard that way. To "wait" for the person you really care about, after you started a relationship, even if it was rushed into. WAY to difficult for me. But, this isn't a completely negative thing. I don't have to go to China worrying. I have all the freedom in the world. AND I LOVE ASIAN WOMEN! lol..........I really do though. I'm glad this happened, but it sucks because Chelsy Allison Vaughn is an amazing person, one I could trust, confide in, and love. But, life isn't a slip and slide. It's more like a fall off a steep cliff, with pointy rocks, and dangerous snakes, and........well you get the point. One thing at a time i guess. I should probably deal with the MS and then attempt a relationship.........I just wanted one, NOW!!!!

3 DAYS LEFT!!!!!!
